History of our company: OrthodoxSpecialties.Com and EmmausJewelry.com are online divisions of The Jewelers Workshop. Opened in 1984, The Jewelers Workshop specializes in the design and manufacture of original jewelry by jeweler/designer John Wimberley. Sold in stores across the united States and Canada, our jewelry is both unique in style and quality. About The Designer:
John Wimberley began making jewelry in the mid 1970s in Athens Greece. In 1979 John moved to the United States to attend jewelry college. Three years later graduating as a certified watchmaker and jeweler. In 1984 he opened The Jewelers Workshop in San Angelo Texas. Over the past 23 years, he has built a collection of more than a thousand designs. While most of his designs are of a religious theme, there are many other subjects to choose from. In 2000, John received a degree in Emergency Medical Services. In his spare time, John works as a National Registry Paramedic, tutors Anatomy and Physiology, and teaches EMT classes for a local college. |
